Just wanted to show you what a beautiful boy Dante(previously named Max) turned out to be. He is a wonderful boy, playful, yet a gentleman. He loves his daily walks, and if it is bad weather, he walks on the treadmill, while I use the elliptical, beside him. He no longer steals things to chew on, and is content with his marrow bones. Dante spent almost all of his first 2 years with an old gentle giant, Fritze, also a retriever, great pyr mix, but Fritze was over 100lbs, Dante grew only to 60. At 14 years, about a month ago, we had to say good bye to our old friend, which left Dante very lonely. We love having 2 dogs, and knowing we could never replace Fritze, we did adopt another puppy, Fiona. Who is also a great pyr/ lab mix, although you would never know it. They look nothing alike, but their temperament is the same, and they really have a lot of fun together. After only a week, they are the best of friends. Fritze taught Dante, and now Dante is teaching Fiona how to have fun. He is even teaching her how to ring the chimes on the door when she needs to go out! I have attached some pictures so that you can see what a beautiful boy he is. Thank You so much for doing what you do! Katie Kratochvil, MA |

Precious, now known as Guilietta. We adore her!! She is already bonding really well and has taken right away to the peewee pads. She's so well socialized and we can tell she going to be a fantastic dog for us. Her playful side is keeping us in stitches. She has brought some real joy into our lives since the passing of our 14 yr old jack Russell. We are so happy to have found her and your company. Sincerely, Jane and Paul, MA |

Hi Heather, Liza is a Rock Star!! She is the most beautiful dog that we have ever had. Her temperament is so sweet, yet very playful and mischievious. Please post her picture for all future families to see. We are so pleased with your adoption service. Will continue to send pics as she grows. 25 lbs and sprouting like a weed....tis the season!! Hi Heather, Hope everything is well with you and all your pups. We are doing great!!! Dodger(aka...Jojo) is doing just great. He has adjusted beautifully, and is best friends with my 5 year old Chesapeake Oliver. Its been great watching them develop a great friendship and trust with each other. My other Chessie, Bailey, is 12. He was hesitant at first, but is now warming up to him. Dodger is so happy, content and very sweet. What a testiment to the people at Mustard Sandwich!!! Its easy to see he was so well cared for. The offer still stands if you need a place to let the puppies run when you make your trips up this way. Just give me a few days notice. Thanx again for a wonderful puppy, Pam Rogers, NJ |
| Hi Victoria, My name is Danielle Mucci and my boyfriend, Eddie McPherson, and I adopted Oliver (formerly Pebbles) in March of this year. He is doing wonderfully; his training is coming along very well. The most helpful tips would have to be the relaxation techniques, the use of the listerine for biting and getting him used to a schedule. He is very well behaved, playful and super-friendly especially with other dogs. Heather was really great throughout the whole process; she was so helpful and knowledgeable right from the start. We were unsure of what type of dog was right for us, and Oliver was a perfect match. Even at adoption time when it was late and she had been traveling all day, the training session was thorough and very informative. I would absolutely recommend Mustard Sandwich to anyone interested in adopting a puppy, and I have even helped one of my friends out with her new puppy by sharing the relaxaton techniques and also the Positive reinforcement has been a big help with Oliver's training as well. Thank you and hope all is well with you guys! Danielle, MA |
Hello!! We adopted a Lab / Cocker Spaniel mix puppy from you. (can't remember what her name was when we adopted her...?) At the time, we were living in PA and met you at another adoption families house on a Saturday morning. My wife, Lori, our daughter, Dena (5 yrs old) and I are now living in Knoxville, TN and wanted to say "hello" and "thank you." HANNAH is now almost 8 months old and she is GREAT!! Zoe (our other dog, also almost 8 months is a Puggle.) Hannah and Zoe are best friends!! They do EVERYTHING together and they are A LOT of fun to watch!! Both girls are well-behaved but my wife would say I spoil them rotten....LOL!! thank you and hope all is well with you!! Chris Molloy |
Heather - I thought this might bring a smile to your face. Ziva graduated from 'puppy training' at Petsmart Thursday night. She will begin 'intermediate training' this Thursday morning. She's doing very well - finally has us trained - haha! She weighs almost 25 pounds and is strong as a horse. Must be those chicken livers!!!! I have a gentle leader on her because she likes being in 'control', but it's very hard on me when I take her for walks. She is extremely smart and loves life like no other animal I've ever seen. Thanks again for all your help and encouragement! Wishing you a wonderful summer! Carolyn Mahon, NC |
We changed his name from Chance to Trump. He is now 4 months old and is doing great. We actually just got back from a vacation in North Carolina. He loved swimming in the pool and diving in the waves. We also bring him to the Jersey shore on the weekends. He loves hanging out with other dogs and playing frisbee. He is a wonderful dog and is doing very well with his training. We couldn't be more happy with him! |

Dear Victoria, I just wanted to say thank you for bringing Cholula into my life and allowing me to be her mom. She is the disabled chihuahua puppy that you named "hopskotch." She will be 2 years old this July. She has been doing very well and we now live in Houston, TX. I did orthopedic specialist and a neurologist and it has been determined that there is no surgery that can be done for her condition. She was born with the defect in the spine. The vet specialist told me that so long as we keep her weight down then she should have no problems. That's a little tough at time because she loves to eat! She doesn't let that get her down though. She still hops around very fast and is very, very mischevious. She steals a lot of things in the house so we constantly have to watch her because she is a little thief. Lol! I have enclosed some pictures of her. She loves to burrow under the bed covers and she loves to play with my sister's boxer, Maggie. She is the sweetest little dog ever and loves to cuddle. As you know, I had a previous disabled dog before that unfortunately passed away. For a long time I had a hole in my heart because I missed my dog so much. Cholula has definitely helped to fill that hole. I couldn't imagine my life without her. Again, thank you Victoria! Sincerely, Jennifer Fox Houston, TX |
hello everyone, Daisy (aka Patches) is doing great, she it the sweetest dog on the planet.. (yes I could be a little prejudiced!) Email Me |
I’ve mean meaning to send this for awhile! Willie (previously known as Marshall ) and my daughter Courtney. Willie is doing great and has become a wonderful addition to our family. He is the sweetest dog I’ve ever met. We love him! Thank you, Lisa Daley |
Hi Heather, Tyler is just amazing. He is such a great addition to our family. He is adorable and sweet, although sometimes he just loves being a puppy like when he rips his wee wee pad and steals shoes that are bigger than him (any help would be appreciated). Other than that, he is pretty good with everything. We have had him for a little more than a month but it seems like years that we’ve been loving him. Tyler used to hate putting on his harness, but now he likes it. We take him for walks and we play outside. We just love him so much! Thank you Mustard Sandwich. You have been a great help |
| Hi Victoria, I don't think a day goes by without us being grateful for Sophie! We just love her and she is a beautiful and good, good dog. She is a healthy 38 pounds and I still try to make some treats and food for her. You gave her and us such a great start and we are thankful for all your help and all the time you spent with us. I hope her siblings are doing well also. With gratitude, Maureen Chin |
Our puppy "Artemis" (or Arti for short) has really become part of the family! She's growing very quickly as you'll see in the photos. Generally she is quick to learn, very well-mannered and friendly. She is also complimented everywhere on her temperment and appearance. We're lucky to live just a few blocks from the beach, and dad (me) has been out every morning at sunrise for exercise and play before breakfast. It's a very dog-friendly neigborhood so Arti gets to meet lots of dogs (and their owners). On the beach we let her off-leash and she is pretty good at staying close on the walk and coming back to me when I call, if she goes to say hello to another dog or person. She will chase and fetch balls and objects enthusiastically and get her legs wet, but she still shies away from the waves. Anyway, we all love her a lot! Kind regards, Ron |

He is a great puppy and seems to be learning fast! He and my puggle are like brother and sister! They actually fight and play just like brother and sister. ha ha! Thanks so much! Kristyn |
| Hi Heather, This is Michael Loeffler (with Sharon Miller); we adopted Supergirl (Saturday, November 1st) - just thought you might want to see a few pictures (link below; which I will be updating all the time). She is settling in nicely and we love her! She definitely is "super!". Her new name is "Chloe". Thanks so much for all that you guys do! We are extremely happy! We are very "proud parents"! -Michael |
Finally, here's a long overdue update on Layla. Layla is a terrific dog. She's about a year and 1/2 old now, seems to have topped out at about 40 lbs and has a sparkling personality. On top of that she's sweet, well behaved, amazingly affectionate and a great companion. We're so glad to have her in our family. Regards, Erica Farrell |

Email Us Hello! Buddha (aka Casey) is doing great. He is a good puppy and learns very quickly. He already knows sit, stay, drop it and down. He is gaining about 2 lbs a week and is now up to almost 25 lbs! He loves to cuddle and get his belly rubbed. He loves everyone and everything. He is even turning our cats into more friendly, playful, kittens again. We love him so much and truly feel like we have the best dog in the world. He had no separation anxiety from his littermates or had no transitional difficulties at all. The funniest thing about him is that he hardly EVER barks! He has the most calm and patient disposition. We've taught him to sit and stay while we eat dinner, sit and stay while someone comes through the door, and sit and stay until we give him the go ahead to eat. He is just the most perfect dog. Our son adores him and loves practicing the sit and stay "trick" with him. He makes him sit while my son goes and hides somewhere in the house, then he yells "Buddha Come" and Buddha comes pounding down the hall to find him. I have no doubt that his submissive, calm and people-loving personality was developed and nurtured through the wonderful care you gave him from the very beginning. Your philosophy is exceptional and clearly guarantees your puppies a healthy, well-balanced start to life!!! We thank you so much for our little boy. He has completed our family! Sincerely, The Kent Family |

Hello Everyone at Mustard Sandwich, I am sorry it has taken so long to get back to you with pictures and comments on our new addition to our family. I cannot thank you enough for giving us such a great little girl. She has brought so much joy and happiness to Chris and I and our families. We named our puppy Lacie and as soon as we brought her home to meet her new sister Lily they hit it off right away. They play and snuggle together all the time. I have attached some pictures for you to see how big she is getting she is almost as big as our boxer Lily already. Once again thank you so much for this amazing puppy. Sincerely, Heather Berardinelli and Chris Dunlop Connecticut |
