Hi everyone at Mustard Sandwich! We wanted to give you an update on how life has been since adopting Leonardo. He is such an amazing dog! He has been a fantastic addition to our family! He is now about 40 lbs and still growing into an extremely handsome dog. The kids have changed so much since bringing him into our family; our oldest (who was once afraid of all dogs) attends puppy school with Leo and has become a dog lover. Our daughter reads to Leo every morning if she's up before the rest of the family and cuddles with him every chance she gets. And our youngest son really seems to be the next dog whisperer - he will tell you that Leo is his best friend. As for Leo himself, he has just completed Puppy Middle School and will be entering High School next week. We are working with a great training facility and are considering the possibility of training Leo to be a therapy dog after he turns one. He still gets sick in the car, but once he arrives to our destination, he's once again the happy puppy we all know and love! He even came with us on our 8 hour trip to visit family for a week! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to bring him into our lives. We are considering the possibility of adopting a second puppy in the future and will certainly adopt from Mustard Sandwich again. Sincerely, The Zynda Family, CT |
Hi Heather, Life with Ella has been fantastic. She is an amazing little puppy. I can't even begin to explain how much I've enjoyed her. She is such a pleasure!!!! Since she is my first puppy I don't have anything to compare her to, but everyone I meet is so impressed with how calm she is and how great of a puppy she is. She comes to work with me every day and we are yet to have any problems. She recently finished all of her shots and we have been spending a ton of time out with other dogs. She is amazing!!!!!!!! I could literally talk for days about how great she is and how much fun i have had with her. She is absolutely fantastic. I tell everyone about you guys and have recommend you to many many random people on the street. I think the world of you guys!!!!!!!! I've attached a bunch of pictures. Again, I would be very happy and proud to be included on your reference page as i emailed a bunch of people from the reference page before deciding to adopt from you guys. Thanks again! I think you guys are absolutely fantastic and amazing people....I love you all!!!!! -Jeremy, NYC Email Jeremy |

Hi Mustard Sandwich, My new puppy Jazzy is a joy! She is so sweet and friendly to all animals and loves people as well. Jazzy is a well behaved pup. She follows me everywhere and we have been working on walking with a leash. Stairs scared her at first but she learned fast. We love the relaxation techniques and the training tips are helpful! Thanks so much for doing what you do and for our new family member! She's a Vermont dog now! Thanks again, Nicole and family, VT |
Attached please find a photo of Bailey (formerly known as Splash). He just learned how to lift his leg by watching the other dogs at the park. I'm so proud. So much for small paws - small 30lb dog???? He is now 66lbs. One and 1/2 years old and wonderful! He's a lover - not a fighter! He loves people, our birds, our fish, all the dogs at the doggy park. He's also very smart and imitates things that I (mom of the house) does. I make the bed and he comes over - on his own - and pulls down the bedspread so it matches the side. Then goes to the other side and pulls it down there. He sits an lays down and rolls over. Each day we laugh at something he's doing. I can't thank you enough. Everywhere we bring Bailey, people stop or stare because of his beautiful markings. He is such a joy. Everyone who stops and asks me about him, I give them your website and even our vet has been referring people to you. Thanks again, Billie McClintock, NJ |

Dear Mustard Sandwich, Apologies on the late feedback, but we figured we'd wait some time to send you some pictures of Maddox (or Mustang). It's been just over a year since we got him and all we can say is that he is literally the "perfect dog." Sounds cliché, but it's true. We couldn't ask for a more playful, obedient, gentle and loving dog. He is the best dog we could have ever asked for. Every time that people would ask where we got him, we wouldn't waste a second to praise your incredible company. We promote Mustard Sandwich in almost every dog conversation we have. We honestly feel that he would not have been the same amazing dog without your initial training and care. On behalf of Jess and I, we can't thank you enough for our amazing family member. We'll be coming back for sure. Thanks again - hope all is well, Bryan, Jess and Maddox |
Hi, Our puppy (now named Clementine or Clem) is doing very well. She gets along great with our other dog Chloe and they are inseparable. She is a cuddly, happy puppy. My friend took these great pictures of her and I wanted to share with you. Thanks, Natalie, CT |
Heather and all Mustard Sandwich friends: I got Randy from you last October (2009), he is now known as Sherman, and is officially the biggest Ham I have ever met in my life, he is a great dog and loves to de-stuff his toys, we go through them very often. Hopefully soon I will be looking for another dog and will absolutely positively go through you guys to find Sherman a buddy...here are some pictures of him all grown up! Sincerely, Heather C. Hi Mustard Sandwich, An update on "Squirt". We named her Sasha. She is getting so big, fast, and by the looks of her "Extra Skin" she's not slowing down any time soon! Thank you all sooo much for this perfect little angel! We LOVE her so much! She came to us so well behaved, I wish we would have gotten our resident dog from you too seems he could learn a new thing or two, and he has. Remember we already had a yorkie, well he has adjusted well. He does not act up when we leave the house or get that seperation anxiety he had before Sasha arrived. Everybody in the family, neighborhood and just driving by stops to say how cute and well behaved she is. They also marvel over the fact that she walks with me without a leash (Thanks 2 u). She has learned to sit, and to come when called by her name. We are so happy with our new baby girl, and so happy with the decision to adpot from Mustard Sandwich, and if we ever get another pup we will defenitly call you! I have attached some pictures for you, but she has already gotten a little bigger since then! Thanks again, couldn't ask for a better dog! The Shipley Family, MD |

Hi Heather, We hope that all is well with you and the family. We still check the website almost weekly and tell friends to do the same. Bruno (Dynamite - Boxador) is now 2 years old and we wanted to tell you that he is now a certified therapy dog since January, visiting a local nursing/rehabilitation home weekly. They love him there, including the doctors, nurses , physical therapists, and other staff. He walks around with me, stopping to sit with certain friends who are either in wheelchairs or in bed and he'll give kisses if requested and do some tricks too. He's also helped with one man's physical therapy by catching and retrieving a ball that he's throws over and over again. It's quite obvious that Bruno loves going to work each week - why not? - he gets tons of praise, love and treats! He is so good natured and we want to thank you again. Bruno is totally a member of the family, very loving and sensitive and it's a joy to wake up with him each day. He gets our moods and is just so tuned in to us. he is also a comedian. But most of all he is a real best friend. One of the most precious moments for me is when we are in the woods, off leash, and he goes up ahead and disappears around a bend - when I emerge from around the bend I find him just standing still and waiting, facing forward, but with his head looking back over his shoulder for me. AThen all is well and we keep going.... We call him " the boy" sometimes; even "mushy boy" since he's so sweet. Yes, we're in love with him! He's the best! Here's some recent photos for you - he's about 74 lbs. now full grown. Thank you again and stay well, Ellen and Adam Branfman, MA |

He is doing great...and completely oblivious to the colder weather! Best, Ben & Edalin, Vermont |

We all Love Sadie she is a great puppy. She goes to work with us everyday and loves to be outside. Everyone that sees her loves her. My granddaughter is the peach when it comes to Sadie. She loves to be with her and play with her. The Janusauskas, CT |
Hello, I would like to thank you for giving me Beau (formerly known as Prancer). He is the most loving calm dog I could ask for. Beau is doing well, he like to run around the yard and has two friends that live behind him that he plays with everyday. Beau is a very quiet dog, he doesn't bark unless he wants to be let out or if he is hungry. He has grown to a very healthy weight of 76lbs. The vet is very happy with his health. I would like to say I am very impressed with the service this adoption agency provided and have recommended you to friends. I know at least one of my friends adopted a puppy from you last year. You do a wonderful job. Keep up the good work, Kristine & Beau Bielecki, MA Email Kristine |

Thank you so much, KIRBY is doing great. He sleeps through the night, and has been on a great schedule. You guys have done a great job in the pre-training. Although a couple of accidents, that is to be expected. It's all new. We love him so much and he fits in really well with our family. As of now,he seems very mellow, goes on walks great. A little afraid of bigger dog's. Still haven't heard him bark. LOL I'm sure we will soon. He is a great puppy and is doing wonderful. THANKYOU....Jackie & Jakob, MA |
Hello, just wanted to give you a quick update on the boxer/lab mix puppy we adopted from you! To start - we named her Sadie... we made it back to Florida (took us 10 hours to get home!) with no problems - she was such a good girl the entire ride, just slept in our laps the whole way home! We are absolutely in love with her - she is very sweet and my son Dylan just can't get enough of her. He is already so protective of her - we can already tell they are going to be the best of friends :) She is adjusting well and has been enjoying playing in our backyard and going f for evening walks around our neighborhood - I was pleasantly surprised with how well she is doing walking on a leash. She is already incredibly spoiled with a huge pile of toys we've gotten her! She is doing great, her little tail never stops wagging! Thanks again - we feel so lucky to have her! The Boutwells, FL |
Mr. Chip was adopted through Mustard Sandwich on 3/19/10. He's healthy, loving and training to become a therapy dog. He's part of our family. Attached you'll find a picture of him. Please share this on your website. Thank you again, Winter Gary |

Hello! We would just like to thank everyone at Mustardsandwich for our perfect pup! We adopted "John Boy" (now "Tandem") about 9 months ago and he is amazing! He has turned out to be everything we could have asked for in a puppy! He is very chill and very smart. I think this has a lot to do with the way you all handle the puppies when you have them in the beginning of their lives! We can't imagine our lives without Tandem now! Everytime someone meets Tandem they tell us how good he is and what a good looking dog he is! We are so thankful to have come across your website and I tell everyone I know, that is looking for a puppy, to check you guys out! One of my clients actually checked out the website after I told them about you and they got their dog "Lola" from you as well! Thanks again! Sarah and Mike, CT Email Sarah |
